Welcome to WorkLife. These Terms of Service set out the rules for using our app. By using WorkLife — Life & Shifts Planner, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using WorkLife — Life & Shifts Planner ("WorkLife", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
WorkLife is a free personal planner that helps you track shifts and work hours, calculate pay, keep a private diary, manage tasks and appointments, monitor training, and view your schedule in one calendar. The service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and be at least 13 years old to use WorkLife. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Use WorkLife for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to access, alter, or damage any part of the service you are not authorised to • Interfere with the proper functioning of the service or its advertising • Use the app to store or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your Content
All content you enter into WorkLife (diary entries, shift records, activities, notes, and training data) belongs to you. You retain full ownership of your content. We store it securely so that only you can access it, and we do not read your private entries except where required for technical support at your explicit request or as required by law.
6. Advertising
WorkLife is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. By using the app, you acknowledge that Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising preferences at https://adssettings.google.com or www.aboutads.info. We do not share your private diary entries, shift data, or personal notes with Google for advertising purposes.
7. Third-Party Services
WorkLife may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar to sync your events. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, and your use of them is governed by those terms. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.
8. Free Service & Disclaimers
WorkLife is provided free of charge and on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that pay calculations or reminders will always be accurate. Pay calculations are estimates based on the information you enter and should not be relied upon as a substitute for your official payslip or employer records.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorkLife and its developer (Projah) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts, if any, we have received from you (none, as the service is free).
10. Intellectual Property
The WorkLife name, logo, design, and software are the property of Projah and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our permission. Your own content remains yours as described in section 5.
11. Termination
You may stop using WorkLife and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms or if we decide to discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where possible.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the app or by email. Continued use of WorkLife after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of WorkLife shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
